As a professional writer, Ian Faulkner has always been fascinated by the darker side of the human condition as is self evident from his fiction work. He draws heavily from his diverse life experiences for his often visceral and macabre tales.
He has had short stories published in several countries; his short ‘Grandpa Billy’ was published by Ash-Tree press in Canada and gained an honorable mention from Ellen Datlow in the ‘Years Best Fantasy and Horror 17’.
His latest collection of shorts ‘None So Blind’ is published by Ghostwriter Publications in the UK and has already received acclaim from critic Clayton Bye and horror authors Bob Freeman and William Meikle.
His latest two ‘Chap Books’- ‘Unnatural Selection’ and ‘Rewind’ are available internationally from the GWP company. IPP are pleased to announce that ‘Rewind’ gained an honorable mention from Ellen Datlow’s ‘Best Horror Stories 2010′.
Ian’s cryptozoological thriller novel ‘Myth’ will be released later on this year.
Besides his work for us at Imprint Phoenix Publishing he is currently working on several independent fiction projects including an anthology.
Ian is an American and lives in Plano, TX.
